Plymouth, North Carolina
Plymouth, North Carolina, is a small town on the Roanoke River and the Albemarle Sound in northeastern North Carolina. In the days before the American Revolution, the area now known as Plymouth was a port city.
"... sea captains began to refer to this area as Brick House Landing."
LAST UPDATE:

The Brick House Landing Chapter, NSDAR, received its charter October 11, 1997.  From the original 16 Organizing Members, our chapter membership has grown significantly.
Each fall we have a "Prospective Member Tea" to explain to non-members what DAR is all about. This year at the Tea, we will be celebrating our 10th Anniversary. The Tea is followed by a Genealogy Workshop a few weeks later to help get prospective members started on their ancestral search. This workshop is also open to the public. In the spring, we do a more concentrated genealogy workshop working with prospective members on their particular problem areas.
