The Brick House Landing Chapter, NSDAR, received its charter October 11, 1997.  From the original 16 Organizing Members, our chapter membership has grown significantly.

We are small, but stay busy. Some of the activities of our chapter include the following:  We collect toiletry items for our Veteran's Hospital, and send cards to our military for Christmas.  We send money to Crossnore and Kate Duncan Smith Schools for Christmas.

In February we honor our American History Essay Contest winners with a pin, certificate, savings bond and reception for family and teachers.  We award the Jr. ROTC Medal to 2 deserving students in our area high schools every May.  The Brick House Landing Chapter is proud of its American Heritage and community.
