     Admission to membership in the NSDAR is either by invitation through a Chapter in your State Organization or Units Overseas.  No Chapter may discriminate against an applicant on the basis of race or creed.

Chapter Meetings

Caswell-Nash was named for two of North Carolina’s Independent Governors, Richard Caswell and Abner Nash, in grateful recognition of the services of
these patriotic and efficient leaders.
    Caswell-Nash Chapter was organized in November, 1914, and chartered January 21, 1915, as Chapter #1291, with Mrs. Cornelia Alice Norris as Organizing Regent.  There were 33 charter members.
    Caswell-Nash Chapter meets monthly, September to May.  A daytime meeting is held on the second Friday for a luncheon meeting at 11:30 AM and an evening group meets four times a year (September, December, February, May) at 6:30 PM .
    Any woman is eligible for membership who is no less than eighteen years of age and can prove lineal, blood
