| Kings Mountain is a city in
North Carolina with a rich historical association to the Revolutionary War. One famous site is the Kings Mountain Battleground where a fierce battle was fought on October 7, 1780. Many consider this battle the turning point of the Revolutionary War. |

Statement for The Colonel Frederick Hambright Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution |
| We are an active chapter with many projects in progress to help those around us see that the Daughters of the American Revolution are a true service organization devoted to: |
| “God, Home and Country.” |
| Our purpose is to honor our ancestors for their undying and heroic deeds of valor in the struggle to attain freedom and independence. We, the Daughters of those brave men and women, now pledge service to “God, Home and Country” as we strive to: |
