Welcome!

Welcome to the David Williams Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR), in Goldsboro, North Carolina. Goldsboro, located in Wayne County, was incorporated in 1847 and is the home of Seymour Johnson Air Force Base.

Our chapter was organized October 29, 1914 in the home of Serena Williams Taylor (Mrs. Charles Fisher Taylor), who was our first Regent. There were 34 charter members who held early meetings in the Goldsboro Court House. We are dedicated to historical preservation, promotion of education, and the encouragement of patriotic endeavor. We meet during the months from January through May and September through December. Our locations may vary based on our programs and scheduled events. We have friendly, caring members who are committed to service to our community, state, and country and would love to have you as part of our chapter!
