“Today’s DAR” video
This video, hosted on YouTube, highlights the vibrant, active organization the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) is today.

Welcome!

The General James Moore Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR), in historic Wake Forest, North Carolina, welcomes you to our website. We’re glad you chose to learn more about us. Many of our members live in the Wake Forest community, while others live in Raleigh and surrounding areas.

Our vibrant, friendly, and multi-aged group comes from many states and with a wide variety of interests and experiences. What unites us is our patriotism, love for our country, and the opportunity to make a difference in the life of our community, our state, and our country.

Chapter meetings are held monthly on the third Tuesday from September through May. Meeting times alternate between 2 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. to accommodate our many working members. Members always enjoy the delicious refreshments and social time before meetings.

Please explore these pages to learn more about the General James Moore Chapter, NSDAR, and learn how you can become a member of our patriotic, nonpartisan organization. Contact us today for a chapter meeting invitation. We look forward to seeing you soon!
