“Today’s DAR” video
This video, hosted on YouTube, highlights the vibrant, active organization the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) is today.

The General James Moore Chapter in historic Wake Forest, North Carolina, welcomes you to our website. We’re glad you chose to learn more about us. While many of our members live in the Wake Forest community, others live in Raleigh and surrounding areas.

We are a vibrant, friendly group of over 100 members of all ages, from many different states, with a wide variety of interests and experiences. What unites us is our patriotism, love for our country, and the opportunity to make a difference in the life of our community, our state, and our country.

Our chapter meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the months September through May. Because many of our members are busy working women, we alternate meeting times each month between 2 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Members always enjoy the delicious refreshments served by our volunteer hostesses at each meeting, and they value the social time before meetings to exchange greetings and meet guests.
