Work of the Chapter

Liberty Hall Chapter strives to educate, serve the community and preserve history.

We support DAR schools by giving money, old and new clothes, school supplies, and saving soup and other food labels.

We support the Veterans' Hospital in Salisbury and other veterans' projects.  We have made lap robes, ditty bags and bibs.  We have given books and supplies.  We also save stamps for disabled veterans.  We have a Christmas Tea to raise money to give money to the Veterans' Hospital.

We promote Constitution Week and Bells Across America.

We give awards to outstanding young people:
Two DAR Good Citizens Certificates and Medals
One JROTC Award Certificate and Medal
Two Outstanding American History Teacher Certificates
Three Patriotism Certificates and Medals

Our members volunteer many hours with charitable organizations within our community.
