The Otway Burns Chapter is located in Swansboro, Onslow County, NC.  It is a picturesque village and port located at the mouth of the White Oak River, and listed on the National Register of Historic Places.  Incorporated in 1783, in honor of Samuel Swann, former speaker of the North Carolina House of Commons, the town has continued to grow, developing its successful fishing and tourist industries; however,   Swansboro has managed to retain the quaint charm and character of a colonial port.
