Any woman 18 years of age or older, regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background, who can prove lineal descent from a patriot of American Revolution is eligible.

She must be a lineal descendant of an ancestor who aided in achieving American independence. An applicant for membership in this chapter shall be endorsed by two members of the chapter who are in good standing and to whom the applicant is personally known. The name of the applicant, along with the signatures of her endorsers, shall be proposed at a regular meeting of the chapter and may be voted upon at that same meeting or at the next meeting.
