Membership

The Otway Burns Chapter, NSDAR, meets the first Wednesday of each month at 11 a.m., September through May. Meetings include a program and lunch. Meeting programs can be found on the Meetings page.

National membership

Any woman 18 years or older who can prove lineal descent from a Patriot of the American Revolutionary War is eligible for membership. You can visit the National Society DAR membership page for more information.

A Patriot is anyone who supported the cause for American independence through military, civil, or patriotic service, which must have occurred during the period between 19 April 1775 and 26 November 1783.
