American Spirit Bronze Award - 2021

Welcome!

We are excited to be an active chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR) and the North Carolina Society DAR (NCSDAR). We are honored that you are interested in the DAR and in the James Hunter Chapter, NSDAR, in particular. We actively seek new members and opportunities to promote DAR objectives in our community.

Our chapter meets the second Saturday of the months of September through May, except for December. The regular business meeting starts at 10:30 a.m. followed by an informative program. At the conclusion of the meeting we take time for lunch and social gathering. The location of our meeting varies so please contact us (see the menu on the left).

Take your time looking through our website and get to know us. We’re a committed group of women who steadfastly support the National Society goals of promoting patriotism, preserving American history, and securing America’s future through better education for children. We observe patriotic anniversaries and uphold the principles of freedom, equality, justice, and humanity for which our American Patriot ancestors sacrificed their lives and fortunes.
