DAR Scholarships

The chapter supplies scholarship information to the local high schools to encourage students to submit applications to a variety of scholarships through the NSDAR Scholarships and the NCSDAR Scholarships programs. All applications must be submitted by January 31 prior to the next academic year.

In addition, the chapter sponsors the Susie Johnson Lauten Scholarship, which is named for the first regent of our chapter. It is a non–renewable scholarship awarded to one senior from either Stokes County High School, Dalton L McMichael High School, or Bethany Community School.
