About Us
Yadkin River Patriots Chapter, NSDAR, was organized by 35 ladies on September 26, 1919, in Albemarle, North Carolina. Most of these early members were descendants of patriots of Stanly and Montgomery Counties who planted their homes along the courses of the Yadkin River and in whose honor the chapter is named. Since that time, the chapter has grown to more than 100 members from many states across the country.
