the DAR Library has grown

and publications.

The Private John Grady Chapter NSDAR welcomes potential new members. Please contact us (see button at the top left) for more information about our chapter meetings and activities.

How to Join

Any woman, age 18 and over, who can prove she is a direct descendant of a patriot of the American Revolution is eligible for membership. Our members can help you locate the necessary proof if you think you are eligible but do not yet have the documentation. You can go to the National Society DAR membership page for more information.

Who is a Patriot?

A Patriot is anyone who supported the cause for American independence through military, civil, or patriotic service, which must occur during the period between 19 April 1775 and 26 November 1783. For a list of acceptable service see the Accepted Revolutionary War Service page for more information.
